Taking an in-depth look at the glorious history found within The Vic, the book focuses on photos, player stories and supporter memories from a century of stadium evolution.
With each chapter centring on and detailing an individual decade, and a foreword from Honorary Life-President Sir Elton John, the book is a must-have for Watford fanatics interested in the story of their beloved home.
On the book, author and historian Wicken said: “It’s been two years in the making, and I’m delighted with how it looks. It’s heavier than I was expecting though! I particularly enjoyed researching and choosing the photographs, which should prompt memories for supporters of all ages.
“I was also keen to include fans’ own recollections, and the book includes lots of superb stories that supporters have contributed. I very much look forward to people reading it, and I'm sure everyone will enjoy it.”
The book is priced at £20.22, with £1 from all purchases donated to the Watford FC Community, Sports & Education Trust.
